Rethinking industrial policy

A new industrial policy is the missink link in a social-democratic attack on the neoliberal austerity-only policy. That policy should be sustainable. Social-democracy has been rather vague on the topic. I welcome your comments on a 2011-publication of the Bruegel foundation:
