Zita Gurmai, PES Women President says that it is unacceptable that in the 21st century women in Europe still do not have the same rights or the same choices and access to medical services when it comes to their sexual and reproductive rights. By closing our one year campaign “My Body, My Rights” here in Warsaw, we want to give support to our Polish comrades. Education, medical access and assistance as well as a strong progressive movement are essential to give women all across Europe equal rights and to ensure gender equality and social justice, fight poverty and empower women.
